Tattoo training

Tattoo training involves hard work, extensive drawing, and learning technical skills like machine operation and sterilization under a mentor. You'll start by practicing on artificial and pig skin to develop muscle memory for lining and shading, progressing to working with clients under close supervision. Training also includes understanding health and safety regulations, developing customer service skills, and potentially handling mundane shop tasks. Technical & Artistic Skills Equipment Operation: You will learn to properly assemble, disassemble, and maintain tattoo machines and other equipment. Needlework & Ink: Practice needle groupings and their various applications, as well as proper ink mixing for different tattoo styles. Skin Practice: Start by tattooing on synthetic and pig skin to get accustomed to machine vibration, needle depth, and ink distribution for lining and shading. Design & Artistry: Develop strong drawing skills to translate client ideas into legible, aesthetically pleasing tattoo designs on paper, and eventually on skin. Health & Safety Sterilization: Learn critical procedures for sterilizing equipment and maintaining a clean work environment to prevent the spread of infections. Bloodborne Pathogens: Understand and be certified in dealing with the risk of bloodborne pathogens, a crucial aspect of the tattooing profession. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Be prepared to wear and understand the use of PPE, such as masks and gloves, to protect yourself and your clients.
